WEEKLY PROGRESS

Week 1 — Onboarding & Initial Setup

Status at the start of the first class: I have decided to work individually. I have not selected a project topic or started project research, sketches or design production.

I have copied the Project Management Document and added my student information. There has not yet been a project consultation or project-specific feedback at the time of this entry.

Provisional next steps — not yet completed:

  • Review the module briefing, proposal guide and official module information.
  • Explore two or three possible Graphic Design topics.
  • Identify a possible audience and design problem for each topic.
  • Collect initial references and prepare ideas for discussion.
  • Update this blog and the management document after consultation.

Week 2–14

Future entries will be added each week as work is completed.

PRESENTATION / PROPOSAL SLIDES

Not started. The proposal and presentation slides will be added when available.

The proposal will cover the project context, design problem, objectives, audience, existing design analysis, concept development, visual guidelines and a schedule extending into Major Project II.

FINAL OUTCOMES & SUBMISSION

Not yet available. Final outputs and submission dates have not been confirmed.

This section will be updated with the completed design outcomes, presentation materials and relevant final files.

FEEDBACK

Week 1

No project-specific feedback has been received yet. The first class has just started and no individual consultation has taken place.

REFLECTION

Week 1 — Starting Point

I am beginning this module as an individual Graphic Design student. My project direction is still open, and I have not yet developed research or design work. My immediate focus is to understand the requirements and prepare possible topics for discussion.

Final Reflection

To be written at the end of Major Project I, based on the actual process, challenges, outcomes and next steps for Major Project II.
