 WANGJIHENG(0378904) Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media / Taylor's University I watched the design cases given to us by the teacher and found a direction for making posters. I found three poster cases. Quotes of the day: "Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." - Dorothea Lange I took these three photos respectively in the South Lake Park in my hometown, downstairs of my apartment near Taylor's University, and in the city of Kuala Lumpur. I captured these moments with my camera. I think these three are quite suitable to be used as posters among all the photos I've taken. Then I used these three photos I took to create three posters respectively. There are stories behind each of these three photos. I processed the color grading for each of them respectively, making them look suitable for being made into posters. Project Overview This week, the main task was to complete the Pokémon card design project, which involved various aspects from coloring the initial line art to the final complete card design, including shaping the Pokémon's image, conceiving its skills, and filling in the card information. II. Design Process (A) Coloring the Line Art Basis for Color Selection Colors were chosen according to the characteristics of the Pokémon (the one I designed named "Rageclaw"). Since "Rageclaw" is a Pokémon with powerful attacking abilities and a rather fierce appearance, black was selected as the main color to embody its mystery and intimidating presence.
