Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media / Taylor's University

This week I watched the videos posted by my teacher on Google Classroom and learned how to use Photoshop software to complete the double exposure picture synthesis. I finished the work assigned by my teacher. Besides that, I completed another piece of work.

This is a screenshot of the project when I was making my first work.

This week, I have learned a lot about double exposure. I mastered opening portrait images in Photoshop, using various tools to accurately select the subject and optimize the edges in "Select & Mask". I can add a solid color background layer and adjust its color, and use the Curve adjustment layer to increase the contrast. I also learned to add background and foreground elements, such as forest and bird images, adjust their positions and masks, and select the appropriate blending mode to remove the background. I took a portrait photo, collected high-resolution background images, imported them into Photoshop, converted them to black and white or monochrome, and completed the double exposure photo, ready to submit. This learning process made me familiar with Photoshop tools, master the double exposure fusion techniques, and exercise my creative thinking. I look forward to further improvement in the future.
