Project Overview This week, the main task was to complete the Pokémon card design project, which involved various aspects from coloring the initial line art to the final complete card design, including shaping the Pokémon's image, conceiving its skills, and filling in the card information. II. Design Process (A) Coloring the Line Art Basis for Color Selection Colors were chosen according to the characteristics of the Pokémon (the one I designed named "Rageclaw"). Since "Rageclaw" is a Pokémon with powerful attacking abilities and a rather fierce appearance, black was selected as the main color to embody its mystery and intimidating presence. The inside of its mouth was chosen to be pink, creating a strong contrast with the black body to highlight its aggressiveness. Enlarged and placed in the center to emphasize its importance. The black silhouette and sharp claws create a mysterious and dangerous atmosphere, hinting at the terrifying consequences behind the wishes. The red circular background is a key visual element. Red represents danger, warning and blood, symbolizing the bloody disaster in the process of the monkey's paw fulfilling wishes. It forms a sharp contrast with the black monkey's paw, enhancing the visual impact and firmly attracting the audience's attention. I will design the next posters in this direction.
