Personal Summary of the Third - week Course
Ⅰ. Personal Creation Process
1. Material Collection and Sources of Inspiration
• During the third - week course, I devoted myself wholeheartedly to creating personal collage works. I carefully selected materials from various magazines, which cover multiple fields such as fashion, lifestyle, and health, providing rich sources of inspiration for my creations.
• For example, I was attracted by the unique dressing styles of models in fashion magazines, which inspired me to incorporate fashion elements into my collage works. The sentence "Fashion has never been stronger" that I saw in a magazine gave me a strong inspiration, and I hoped to show the powerful charm of fashion through my collage.
• In addition, magazine articles related to health themes, such as content about "Sleeping and nap", made me pay attention to the important influence of sleep on people's lives. I decided to express this important theme through visual elements in my works.
2. Creative Conception and Theme Integration
• After collecting the materials, I started to conceive how to skillfully integrate these seemingly different elements. I tried multiple combination methods, striving to present each theme clearly and creatively in the collage works.
• For the concept of "Around the World", I selected representative landmarks and character images from travel magazines and paired them with other theme elements to reflect the multicultural experience brought by global travel.
• When dealing with the theme of "Sleeping and nap", I combined the pattern of the brain with sleep - related words, presenting the close connection between sleep and brain function in an intuitive and artistic way.
Ⅱ. Learning Achievements and Self - improvement
1. Improvement of Artistic Skills
• Through this collage creation, my artistic skills have been significantly improved. I have learned how to accurately select suitable elements from complex materials and mastered the methods of conveying thematic ideas through colors, shapes, and words.
• During the process of cutting and pasting materials, I paid more attention to details and the balance of composition, making my works more visually appealing. For example, when dealing with materials of different shapes, I would consider the spatial relationships between them to create a harmonious visual effect.
2. Presentation of Personal Creativity
• These collage works fully reflect my personal creativity. I broke away from traditional creative thinking and boldly combined elements of different styles and themes to create artistic works with unique styles.
• For example, when combining fashion elements with the sleep theme, I used contrasting colors and exaggerated shapes, making the works both fashionable and highlighting the importance of the sleep theme.
