Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media / Taylor's University

During the second week of learning, whether listening attentively in the classroom or watching relevant course content online carefully, I have reaped rich rewards. I have learned a very interesting and creative skill - how to make my own paper collages.

In the classroom, through detailed explanations and demonstrations, the teacher made me understand the basic concepts and production principles of paper collages. I have realized that choosing suitable paper materials is of great importance. Papers with different textures, colors, and patterns can bring quite different effects to the collages. At the same time, the teacher also taught us how to conceive pictures according to themes and creativity, and how to skillfully use scissors to cut the paper into the shapes and sizes we need.

In the online courses, by watching video tutorials, I have further deepened my understanding of the production techniques of paper collages. The videos showed various unique splicing methods and creative inspirations, which greatly broadened my horizon. I have learned how to use glue to accurately paste the cut - out papers onto the canvas or paper, and how to create a sense of layering and three - dimensionality by overlapping and arranging the papers.

Through this week's study, I have a more in - depth understanding and mastery of making paper collages, and can't wait to try to make my own works.

The following is my work.

1. Introduction to a new world

In the classes of the first week, the teacher led us into the wonderful world of making
collages. It was my first class, filled with novelty and expectation.

2. Teaching methods
The teacher first played relevant videos and then explained in detail how to make collages.

3. Tool limitations and creativity
It is worth mentioning that in the first class, we were not allowed to use glue but had to
create with scissors and paper-cutters. Despite the limited tools, everyone gave full play
to their creativity and made beautiful collages one after another.

4. Teacher's guidance
The teacher was very responsible and would guide us one by one to ensure that everyone
could complete their works smoothly.

5. Recognition and memories
For those students who performed well, the teacher would record their production
processes with mobile phones, leaving good memories.

6. Overall performance and expectations
It has to be said that we all did very well in this class and are full of expectation for
the following classes.

1. A symbol of development

It serves as a vivid symbol of Malaysia's development, representing the remarkable achievements of the country in modernization construction. The presence of such a tall building showcases the nation's progress and growth over time.

2. Leadership and progress
Its towering stance is reminiscent of the firm hand raised by the prime minister. This implies that it leads Malaysia to continuously ascend to new heights in various fields such as economy and technology. It symbolizes the country's drive for excellence and innovation.

3. Unity and striving
The building also implies the unity of all ethnic groups in Malaysia. It represents their collective efforts in striving for a prosperous country. By depicting this building alongside the national flag, it highlights Malaysia's unique charm and powerful strength, demonstrating the nation's ability to come together for a common goal.

Finally, we completed this work.
